I 4 testi dell’album Ragnarok dei Bloodshed Walhalla sono stati scritti da Drakhen e narrano la battaglia finale tra gli Dei e l’ordine del male e delle tenebre, dai primi segni alla distruzione del mondo e la sua rigenerazione. Naturalmente Drakhen oltre alla leggenda conosciuta grazie alle fonti ha aggiunto del suo inserendoci una storia parallela totalmente creata in base agli eventi.
Il Dio Baldr, figlio di Odino dopo essere stato ucciso dall’inganno di Loki, viene accolto nel regno di Hel. La regina del male ascoltando i pianti disperati provenienti da tutto il creato e le suppliche del Dio Odino affinché il figlio fosse liberato, decide di imprigionare il padre di tutto nelle sue celle e spedire il figlio Baldr nel mondo dei vivi rendendolo così mortale e privo di forze. Odino accetta queste condizioni. Eliminando Odino la regina invia i segni premonitori che poi scaturiranno il Ragnarok. Odino intanto entra nei sogni del figlio ormai mortale e incosciente di tutto quello che è accaduto e che accadrà e gli rivela i suoi progetti, facendoli consegnare le sua forza, il suo cavallo Slipnir, la sua lancia e il suo elmetto. Baldr così dovrà donare il suo cuore mortale alle valchirie, e dopo la sua seconda morte potrà entrare nel walhalla e capire finalmente chi è e la sua reale identità! Baldr così dovrà raggiungere il regno di Hel e con le sue abilità e le armi e forza di Odino, dovrà annientare la regina del male e il suo esercito per così liberare il padre dalle celle nere. Il Ragnarok con Odino e i suoi figli può avere inizio! Questa storia la troviamo nei testi delle 4 traccie dell’album!
RAGNAROK
The four texts of Bloodshed Walhalla's "Ragnarok" album, have been written by Drakhen and tell about the final battle between the gods and the order of evil and darkness, from the early signs to the destruction of the world and its regeneration. Naturally, Drakhen, besides the known legend, added his own by including a parallel story entirely created according to the events.
God Baldr, Odin's son after being killed by Loki deception, is welcomed in Hel's realm. The Queen of Evil listening to the desperate crys from all creation and the supplications of the Odin God for his son to be released, decides to imprison the father of everything in his cells and send his son Baldr into the world of the living by making him so deadly and devoid of Strength. Odin accepts these conditions. By removing Odin, the queen sends the warning signs that the Ragnarok will eventually cause. Odino enters into the dreams of his now dead and unconscious son of all that has happened and that will happen and reveals his plans, delivering his strength, his Slipnir horse, his spear and his helmet. Baldr will have to donate his mortal heart to the valkyries, and after his second death he will be able to enter the walhalla and finally understand who he is and his real identity! Baldr will thus have to reach Hel's kingdom and with his Odin's skills and weapons and strength, he will have to destroy the queen of evil and his army in order to free his father from the black cells. The Ragnarok with Odin and her children can get started! We find this story in the lyrics of the 4 tracks of the album!

The magic chain is broken and the wolf is free, and unleashed, attacks the God.

And in my dreams I flew in the sky, I cried and I died.
I think the track "Celestial Horizon" is one of my favorites of all-time. I can't even explain it - the pure desolation mixed with an immense reverence for nature combines to create something truly magical. The cello part at the end of "Fog of War" is similarly dark and ethereal. This album is a true gem. Septembre
