And he rode the gray horse day and night.
For dark and deep valleys in the fog.
As the wind blew over Hel's nine gates.
Tall and proud he stood before the door.


There his brother was sitting.
Above a throne of white bones.
His royal bride by his side.
Now they were son of the death.

The night was cold in those lands, but he fell asleep.
The following morning he appeared before the black queen.

Let him go back to his home with this gray horse.
Let him go back to his people in his homeland.
